Events & Native Booking

Set up native booking without external tools. Configure availability, create event types, and let contacts schedule directly.

Events & Native Booking

The Events page shows all your appointments in one place. You can also set up native booking so contacts can schedule calls directly with you—no Calendly or Cal.com required.

The Events Page

Click Events in the sidebar to see your calendar. You'll find:

  • Calendar view — Month, week, or day layouts
  • All your events — From Google Calendar, scheduling tools, and native bookings
  • Scheduled calls panel — Today's calls, tomorrow's, and upcoming

Events from different sources are color-coded so you can tell them apart at a glance.

Event Details

Click any event to see its details:

For calendar events:

  • Title, description, time
  • Location and attendees (if you've granted full access)

For scheduled calls:

  • Contact name and event type
  • Duration
  • Join link to start the call
  • Options to reschedule or cancel

Native Booking

Native booking lets contacts schedule time with you directly—without needing Calendly or Cal.com.

How It Works

  1. You set up your availability and event types
  2. Contacts visit your booking page
  3. They pick a time that works for both of you
  4. The booking is created automatically
  5. Both of you get confirmation

Setting Up Your Availability

Go to Settings > Integrations > Booking to configure:

Timezone — Set this to where you're located. All times will display in this timezone.

Working Days — Check the days you're available (typically Monday-Friday).

Working Hours — Set your start and end times (like 9 AM to 5 PM).

Buffer Time — Add padding before and/or after meetings. A 10-minute buffer before gives you prep time; a 15-minute buffer after lets you take notes.

Minimum Notice — How much lead time you need. If set to "1 day," contacts can't book anything for tomorrow.

Click Save Changes when you're done.

Creating Event Types

Event types define what contacts can book—Discovery Call, Follow-up Meeting, etc.

  1. In Booking settings, scroll to Event Types
  2. Click + Add Event Type
  3. Fill in:
    • Name — What contacts will see
    • Duration — 15 to 120 minutes
    • Color — For visual identification
    • Description — Optional details about the call
  4. Click Save

You can set one event type as default (used when no specific type is requested).

Your booking page is at a URL like:

https://[platform]/booking/[your-slug]

Share this link:

  • In your email signature
  • On your landing pages
  • In direct messages to contacts
  • On social media

When you use the Book Call quick action while composing a message, the AI automatically includes your booking link.

What Contacts See

When someone visits your booking page:

  1. They see available dates based on your settings
  2. They pick a day and see available time slots
  3. They enter their details (name, email)
  4. They confirm the booking
  5. They get a confirmation with details and join link

The system automatically excludes times when you're busy (from your connected calendar) and applies your buffer times and minimum notice rules.

After Someone Books

When a booking is made:

  • You receive a notification
  • The event appears on your calendar
  • If they're new, they're added as a contact
  • An action item may be created to help you prepare

Preparing for Calls

Before each call:

  1. Review the contact in your CRM
  2. Check your conversation history
  3. Prepare any materials you need
  4. Join a few minutes early

When it's time, click Join from the Events page or from the call details.

Tips for Good Booking Setup

Be realistic with your availability. Only show times when you can actually take calls.

Use buffer time. Back-to-back calls are exhausting. A 15-minute buffer between meetings helps.

Set appropriate minimum notice. Give yourself enough time to prepare. Last-minute bookings can catch you off guard.

Create clear event types. "15-min Quick Chat" and "30-min Discovery Call" tell contacts exactly what to expect.

Keep your calendar accurate. The system can only show accurate availability if your calendar reflects your real schedule.

Common Questions

"No available times are showing."

Check your working days and hours in Settings. Make sure your calendar is connected and synced. If all your time slots are blocked by existing events, nothing will show.

"Bookings aren't appearing on my calendar."

Verify your calendar connection is active. Try a manual sync. New bookings may take a few minutes to appear.

"The timezone is wrong."

Check your timezone setting in Booking settings. It should match your actual location. Your Google Calendar timezone should match too.

"I can't delete an event type."

You might have active bookings using that type. Check for scheduled calls and reschedule or cancel them first.
